#AtoZChallenge Kyoto Adventure

A-Z Blog Challenge topic: Kyoto Adventure

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post. 5 years ago, my husband and I were fortunate to visit Japan. Most of our adventures took place in Tokyo. However, we did take a day tour from Tokyo to Kyoto. Below are a few pictures from this adventure:

Description: Entrance to Heian Jingu Shrine and a rare glimpse of a shrine maiden, also known as a Miko, who was preparing for a Shinto Wedding Ceremony.

One of the biggest attractions in Kyoto are the Kiyomizu-dera Temple and grounds.
